\u200b\u200bKara de los Reyes founded TERRALUPA in 2020. After nearly two decades in commercial architecture, she shifted her focus to ecological regeneration and design that respects local ecosystems and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her work includes consulting for architectural and engineering firms in Bristol on leadership, sustainability, and research partnerships, as well as co-designing a new MSc program. She also holds volunteer positions, having served as a board trustee for Land is Life (representing Indigenous Peoples globally) for over five years, and currently serving as a board trustee for Artspace Lifespace in Bristol and as co-CEO of The Association of Collaborative Design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her past experience includes serving on the TEDxBristol Core Team, working as an associate and senior lecturer at the University of the West of England, and serving as an external examiner at the Welsh School of Architecture and Central Saint Martins. She has also been a visiting lecturer at Bath Spa University and Leeds Beckett University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
