Inspired by Bruce Lee's quote, this BambooU project under the guidance of Jorg Stamm conceptualised a Community Centre that doubled up as a typhoon shelter.

 

The form is an interpretation of the grid-shell technique that allows flexibility without compromising the overall form and stability, inviting strong winds to flow around the form, like water flows around islands.
